The Biva Foundation was established on 3 June 2025 in the Netherlands
to support the projects and activities of the Community-Based Organisation Bivamuntuyo in Uganda.
Bivamuntuyo (Uganda) is a Community-Based Organisation,
founded in 2012 in the Kyotera District and based in the village of Kabawanga.
The main objective of Bivamuntuyo is, on the one hand,
to prevent and treat malnutrition in children (Nutrition Unit).
On the other hand, it aims to promote knowledge about nutrition,
health and self-reliance among the local population.
Bivamuntuyo literally means “it comes from sweat”, in other words, “hard work pays off”.
